Emma started her nursing career at the PDSA in 1999. After qualifying in 2002 she moved to a small animal practice in the South West and over the years spent time as a locum working in several practices in Devon, Somerset and the Bristol area. Emma took a short break from the veterinary world in 2009 and became an assistant practitioner radiographer working for the NHS, but after having a family Emma was really missing working with animals so decided to return to veterinary nursing. Her main areas of interest are anaesthesia and emergency critical care. In her spare time Emma enjoys spending time with her family, and walking their dog Dexter on the beach. She is also a keen open water swimmer.
