Steph Quinn

Steph joined Kingsteignton Vets in June 2020. She has been in practice since 2011, starting out as a Nursing Assistant and completing her training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2016. Having always wanted to work with animals, her dream came true and shes never looked back.

She says: "being a veterinary nurse is an extremely rewarding profession. Not only do I enjoy helping our furry friends but creating a rapport with our clients is an added benefit of the job. When your pets are with us for the day, or even a little while longer, I take pride in making sure they get the care and cuddles they need. Inpatient care is just one of the areas I love, there is nothing more rewarding than nursing a poorly patient back to their normal mischievous selves.Whether I see you and your fur babies for something routine or perhaps not, I will care for them as if they were my own".

At home she has a very flirty cat called Jeffery. "He most definitely has me wrapped around his little paws! He is perfect company for days off and loves to be my shadow out in the garden", she went on to mention.

Outside of work, Steph is very family oriented and enjoys going out for family meals and walks.

Her and Leigh, her Fiancé, welcomed their first baby, Jude, into the world back in 2021. Now the 3 of them enjoy getting out and about at weekends making the most of family time. She says, "I think we live in beautiful part of the world and I will always take advantage of that. As I think we all should, we are very lucky!"
